Khao Yai excursion
Khao Yai National Park, lies about 175 km Northeast of
Bangkok and is Thailands best known national park.
Covering 2172 square kilometers of protected forest, jungle
and grassland, was declared a nature reserve with over 153
different species of animals, that are protected by law.
En-route to the park we stop in Nakhon Nayok province at a
local fruit market where you can enjoy mango, rambutans and many
more exotic fruits.
Afterwards continue to the National Park for a walk along
one of the marked trails among the mountains, forests, streams and
waterfalls.
After lunch drive through the park heading to Pakchong Creek
for the experience of elephant riding.
Here you will experience a 45 minute elephant ride with a
trusted mahout through the lush forest on the back of an elephant.
Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon.
Elephant ride.
We recommend bookings for this tour to be made as
far ahead as possible to secure the elephant ride. The capacity
for the elephant ride is limited and especially the weekends can
be fully booked long in advance. |
