Golden Triangle tour Day 1 of 3 Visit to an elephant-training camp in the beautiful area of Chiang Dao, where you can witness how these enormous creatures are taught to labor in the jungle. From here we go to the cave of Chiang Dao, with its beautiful white marble statues from Burma. After lunch we continue by pick-up truck through light jungle to an Akha and Lisu village. The terrain here is mountainous and offers a magnificent view. From here we walk to a Palong village where you and spend the night. |

Golden Triangle tour Day 2 of 3 After breakfast a short walk and an elephant ride of approximately 1 hour. After the elephant ride we stop at a camp where bamboo-rafts are made. After lunch we will continue the trek on rafts. We move on to the Golden Triangle, the point where the 3 countries Thailand Laos and Myanmar meet. In this picturesque region many hilltribes live. |

Golden Triangle tour Day 3 of 3 Visit a little place right on the Thai Burmese border called Mae Sai. From here you have a good view of Laos and Burma. The bridge of Mae Sai links the two countries where there is a lively trade between both countries. Lunch is served in a Thai/Burmese restaurant. After lunch we visit Akha and Yao hill tribes. The Akha hill tribe lives at the foot of Toeng, a mountain of some 2.200 metres. Finally we drive to Chiang Rai Airport for your flight to Bangkok and Krabi. |
