Our driver will wait in the arrival hall with a sign with

3 |
Floating Market & River Kwai
Early morning pickup from the lobby of your hotel and travel
to Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai.
En route board your longtail boat for a one- hour ride
through the canals before we reach the floating market of Damnoen
Saduak.
On the way to Kanchanaburi we visit the spectacular Khao Bin
cave and a pottery village.
After lunch, proceed to the boat landing at Pak Saeng, where
a longtail boat takes you, along the River Kwai, to the Floatel.
The floating bungalows are built on bamboo-rafts surrounded
by magnificent jungle.
The accommodation is basic with private bath and shower.
There is no electricity but oil lamps and a very cosy
atmosphere.
It is possible to take an elephant ride, see Burmese Mon
dancing or swim in the river.

River Kwai 3 days
Today you will visit Nam Tok, the end of the Burmese
railway.
From here we take a slow local train over dangerous-looking
bridges to Kanchanaburi (the notorious Burma Death Railway).
The scenery is stunning and you can enjoy spectacular views
until we arrive after two hours at the Bridge over the River Kwai.
Here we visit the war cemetery and the JEATH museum.

5 |
River Kwai 3 days
Drive to the nearby Erawan National Park and visit the
wonderful waterfalls.
The Erawan falls cover 7 levels over a total distance of
1550 meter.
They belong to the most beautiful falls in Thailand.
You can walk up to all 7 levels.
The highest levels require some creative walking but the
climb is more than worth the effort.
You can swim on various locations.
Around the park there are various caves where you can
explore and see some weird and wonderful limestone formations,
stalagtites and stalagmites!
On the way back to Bangkok you will visit the stupa of
Nakhon Pathom, the world's highest Buddha monument.
In the evening transfer to Ayutthaya railway station for
your nighttrain to Chiang Mai. Join-in

Chiang Mai Elephant camp & Orchid farm
One of the largest elephant-training camps is located in the
beautiful surroundings of Chiang Dao, north of Chiang Mai.
The education of elephants requires many years.
In this camp you get a good impression of how everything
takes places.
Continue to the Chiang Dao caves, with its beautiful white
marble Buddha statue from Burma.
After lunch & visit the colourful villages of the Meo
and Lisu hill tribe.
On the way back to your hotel we will stop at an orchid
farm.Join-in tour. |

Chiang Mai Doi Suthep & Home industry
Morning departure to Doi Suthep mountain.
From the top you have a splendid view over Chiang Mai.
The temple can be reached via the Dragon Stairs.
This stairway has at least 300 steps, on both sides flanked
by seven headed naga's (snakes).
After lunch you visit local handicrafts, among which silk
weaveries and small family enterprises where art objects of
silver, bronze, lacquerware and wood carving are made.
You will also visit the village Bor Sang where colourful
umbrellas are made by hand. |

Chiang Mai - Koh Samet
Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport and a direct non-stop flight
to Bangkok.
Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport our minivan will pick you up
and take you to Ban Phe for the ferry for Koh Samet.
Transfer to your hotel on Koh Samet and checkin.
The rest of the day is free at leisure. |
