Pashupatinath as an excellent selection of ancient Hindu temples, bathing ghats, and sadhus.

The Pashupatinath Temple is considered to be one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal.

It is believed that to die and to be cremated here will release one from the cycle of repeated birth and death.

Once you have experienced the Pashupatinath Temple, and the sites near the Bagmati River, you can visit the Gorakhnath Temple and the Gujeshwari Temple and then Boudhanath. It is possible to see all of these in one day due to the close proximity.

Foreigners can not enter the Pashupatinath temple, yet it is still worth coming here, because there are many temples in the area. It is an ancient and interesting place.
