Nepal Cities include: Capital, Kathmandu (3 districts). Other cities, Biratnagar, Patan, Pokhara, Birgunj, Dharan and Nepalgunj.

The terrain is diverse depending on which part of Nepal you are visiting for example it is flat and fertile in the southern Terai region with swiftly flowing mountain rivers in the central hills.

Eight of the world's ten highest peaks are in Nepal, including Mount Everest.

Kathmandu, the capital, climate is subtropical in the south to cool summers and severe winters in the northern mountains.

The monsoon season is from June through September, during which showers occur almost every day.

The country is famous for: tourism, trekking, hiking, camping, mountain biking, national wildlife parks, jungle safaris, river rafting, sport fishing, and its many beautiful temples and places of worship.
