The average temperature during day time is 25° C (75° F)
and rarely under 13° C (62° F) at night.

The weather in Mauritius is perfect for holiday as the climate
is enjoyable all year round .
In the coastal areas, mainly the west side of the island, there is
not as much variation in the temperature.
The warmest months of the year in Mauritius are January and February
and the only problem during the warm months is that a cyclone can
occur.
During a tropical cyclone in Mauritius, there can be very strong
winds, very high waves in the sea and it brings lot of rain too.
Summer is from November to April and winter is from May to October.
The coolest region, if it can be said cool, is the central plateau.
The central plateau is also the region of Mauritius which receives the
most rainfall.
The temperature of water along the coast of Mauritius during summer is
usually around 27°C and in winter it can be up to 22°C.
During the summer season the climate is usually dry and warm; the
temperature on the coastal areas can be from 25°C to 35°C.
On the central plateau the temperature is cooler most of the time
from 20°C to 28°C.
In the winter season the weather is humid and warm most of the time.
The temperature in the coastal areas is around 24°C and the
central plateau around 18°C but during the night the temperature
cango down a few degrees.
Of course it is never as cold as in Europe.

Domaine L'Ylang Ylang - A plantation of ylang ylang trees
located at Anse Jonchée few kilometres of Vieux Grand Port. A
visit of the plantation is a must for every nature-lover. Lovely
situated restaurant.
Bois Chéri: visit the tea production, enjoy the
mauritian cuisine in a colonial house build 1819.
Ile aux Aigrettes - For a genuine ecotourism trip you must
visit this Nature Reserve situated at about 800 meters off the
south-east coast of Mauritius.
Dutch Ruins - The ruins of the first Dutch fortifications
located at Vieux Grand Port, the oldest settlements in Mauritius..
Souillac - A village with several historical remains and the
coral-built La Nef house of famous Mauritian poet Robert
Edward Hart.
Domaine les Pailles Experience the original Mauritius: A
nature park and cultural center covering more than 3,000 acres.
Restaurants and Casino of the luxury class are found there. There are
also possibilities of driving in Land Rovers in the mountains where
deer, monkeys and rare birds live harmoniously, riding in horse drawn
carriages or in a train.
Sept Cascades: Go deep into the indigenous forests of Les
Sept Cascades, South West of Mauritius. Literally meaning 'seven
waterfalls', Sept Cascades is a favourite among locals to
go trekking and hiking in the greenery. The hike may reveal to be
quite challenging in some places. But after all the huffing and
puffing, you will be grateful once you reach the cooling springs and
waterfalls.
