Continue your safari adventure into the semi-arid land and
rugged landscape of Samburu Game Reserve; home to Samburu people.
Afternoon game drives enable you to see wildlife unique to this
area of Kenya such as Reticulated Giraffe, Greys zebra,
warthog, gerenuk, oryx, blue legged Somali ostrich; and if you are
lucky the elusive leopard. |

Drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the clubs various facilities.
Dinner and overnight at the Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Transfer to Nanyuki Air Strip and board a light aircraft for
your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve, an extension of the
great Serengeti Plain (please note that the baggage allowance on
the light aircraft is 33 pounds, any excess luggage should be left
with the driver/guide for storage in Nairobi).
Afternoon game drive.
Morning and afternoon game drives provide you with an excellent
opportunity to photograph the abundant wildlife in this seemingly
limitless game reserve.
On day 7, you may opt to enjoy an early morning hot air balloon
safari (extra cost) which give you a bird's eye view of the Mara
plains and the winding Mara and Talek rivers. |
