After breakfast, you
will visit the Roman theatre, which dates back to the second
century AD, the Roman ruins of the citadel hill, and the
archeological museum.
Then your adventure
will continue with the visit to the Ashrafia Mosque and the king
Hussein sport City.
You will end your tour
driving throughout themodern city.
You will thenvisit
desert castles built by early Islamic Umayyad Caliphs in the
seventh and eighth centuries AD.
Qasr Amra, Qasr Kharaneh
and Qasr are some of the best preserved examples of Umayyad art
and architecture, including castles, baths, mosques, water and
agriculture systems, mosaic floor, and painted wall frescoes. |

Breakfast, drive to Jerash, which is know as the Pompeii of the
east, and also know as the city of 1000 pillars.
You will also visit the
triple arched gate, the huge hippodrome, the theatre and the only
Roman Forum surround by 63 Ionic columns.
Then we will visit Ajlun,
Pella and Umm Qais. |

After
breakfast, drive to southward along the king's highway one of the
oldest trade routes in the world runs 200 miles along Jordan's
hilly backbone.
You will
stop at the Byzantine church of Mt. Nebo, and then proceed to
Madaba where you will see a unique map of Palestine.
Afterwards
you will reach the dead sea the lowest spot on earth, 1306 feet
below sea level.
Enjoy the
bizarre but delightful experience of floating on the surface of
the buoyant waters, four times saltier than seawater. |

It's an
early morning transfer to Petra so you can start your full day
tour to visit Petra "the rose red site".
The site
comprises a complete urban infrastructure which includes Temples,
baths, private houses, high places, paved streets, public
building, markets, theaters, reservoirs and cisterns.
It's
entrance is a one kilometer long fissure through the
towering cliffs, "the siq", which provides a dramatic
approach and induction to the city.
The narrow
winding path through the canyon dramatically opens up to expose
the awesome façade of the Elkhazneh, "the treasury" |

The road
south from Petra leads down to Wadi Rum, another of nature's
wonderlands that has attracted human beings for thousands of
years.
Wadi Rum
is an unusual desert terrain that resembles a pastel pink lunar
landscape, with towering limestone and granite cliffs shooting out
of the sandy desert floor.
In Wadi
rum, which was known as 'lawrence of Arabia land" there is
time to ride a camel and join a jeep safari. |
