Tokyo Old and New

This morning your guide will meet you at your hotel.

There is a full day of sight-seeing taking in the traditional and the very modern sites of Tokyo

Your guide will also take you to activate your Japan Rail Pass allowing you free travel for the rest of your time in Japan (on all JR lines)

Tokyo

Once you have your bearings, Tokyo (with your rail pass in hand) is really easy to get around. So today, although your guide will not be with you, they will have set up some suggested ideas for things you can do today, based on your own ideas and likes.

Mount Fuji

Today we take a day trip to the famous Mount Fuji and the stunning surrounding area which is about 1 hour outside of Tokyo by train, where on arrival you will be met by an expert guide who will show you everything from the Mount itself to springs, hot enough to boil eggs !!!

Visits in and around this area will also usually include a cruise on Lake Ashi and a ride on the Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway.

Kyoto

It's off to Kyoto by Bullet Train

Your guide will meet and assist you on arrival in Kyoto and transfer you to your hotel for check in

The afternoon and evening will be spent touring the sites of Kyoto including a live show in the evening

Kyoto

Today you have a free day at leisure in and around Kyoto

If you are female, or travelling with them, why not take the opportunity to dress up like a real life Geisha (and be photgraphed too) - like one of our clients did here (Pictured right)

Tokyo

Today, first thing we return to Tokyo

Later, there is an optional rest of the day out at Disneyland or Disney Sea (only 1/2 an hour from Tokyo (central station))
