All are decorated with stylish state-of-the-art furniture and predominantly black and white colourschemes, though many of the rooms and notably the bathrooms have bare rendered walls. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in exceptional conditions as are the funky modern bathrooms.

This well located and managed property is the newest of Reykjaviks new breed of boutique hotel. It comes highly recommended. Half of this hotel is quite an old building by Reykjavik standards while the other half is brand new, blending together beautifully with an attractive white facade. This hotel is situated just off Reykjavik's main shopping street Laugarvegur in a narrow side street.

This hotel comes highly recommended particularly for demanding individual travellers. It should be noted that this is a completely non-smoking hotel! The hotel is traditional looking from the outside with a dark grey facade. This hotel is located right in the centre of Reykjavik within a stone's throw of all the lively bars, excellent restaurants and first class shopping.

This hotel is located in a small village in one of Iceland's most important agricultural areas where most of the country's vegetables are organically grown. It is a large modern building with a dark blue glass and concrete facade. This hotel is situated in a raised part of Reykjavik, near to the waterfront and approximately 15 minutes' walk from parliament square.
