Both tracks at Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island and Sha Tin in the New Territories, have the latest Pay / Sell equipment. Giant colour display screens face the stands, so you never lose track of the horses.
Picking your favourite could not be easier. Simply place your bets at the Jockey Clubs fully computerized on-course betting terminals. These are linked with 124 off course betting branches throughout the territory, so even those not attending the tracks can reap theirrewards.
Race meetings are held on most Wednesday evenings and weekends throughout the September to June season.

Notes

• Tour is restricted to bona-fide tourists who
  • 1. are 18 years of age and above
  • 2. have been in Hong Kong for less than 21 days
  • 3. hold valid overseas passports
• Please ensure that you have your passport with you at all times during this tour. The Hong Kong Jockey club has the right to inspect your passport at any time to check your identity.
• You will be supplied with a badge to enter the racecourse when you present to the tours guide your passport and a valid receipt to show that you have already paid for the tour.
• Due to the nature of the tour, there cannot be any refunds or transfers of badges.
• Schedules and timetables are subject to changes.
• Dress code: Smart casual. Specifically, tracksuits, vest, shorts, overalls, sports shoes, sandals and flip-flops should not be worn.
• The tour group may leave the racecourse after the end of the second to last race to avoid traffic congestion.
• Tour participants are asked to refrain from using flash photography while taking photographs of the horses at then racecourse.
