After pick up, its by Coach through Kowloon to one of Hong
Kong most impressive monasteries, Chuk Lam Shim Yuen (literally
bamboo forest monastery), which houses "Three of the Largest
Buddha" statues in Hong Kong.
Then move out into the countryside past banana plantations, and
up to Tai Mo Shan Hong Kongs tallest mountain. We continue through
the rural countryside passing Shek Kong and Lam Chuen Valley.
Stopping at the traditional rural market at Tai Po.
Browse among the colourful stalls piled high with dried fish,
herbs and vegetables.
Afterwards we visit Sam Mun Tsai fishing village where local
fisherfolk breed fish in submerged cages.
Then continuing along we pass the new industrial town and Chinese
University and visit The Walled Village, Tsang Tai Uk.
The tour concludes with a Chinese Lunch in the local restaurant.
