San Cristobal

San Cristobal is amongst the oldest Islands of the Galapagos Islands.

It is worth a visit, and you will notice a more quiet Galapagos town than Puerto Ayora.

Isla San Cristobal provincial capital is Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

It has some interesting attractions such as encountering the Galapagos tortoise in the wild.

If it is sport you are after then there is good surfing, swimming, and the beautiful Kicker Rock, an old cone shaped volcano that has been artfully carved in two over time.

There are also sea lions and many other land dwelling creatures well known in the Galapagos.
