Altos de Chavron

When visiting the south-east Dominican Republic, you will discover that Altos de Chavon has become one of the main tourist attractions.

It is set in a beautiful hillside location above La Romana.

It hardly seems possible that you would find a completely recreated 16th century southern European village in the Dominican Republic.

The amphitheatre of Stops of Chavon seats 5000 people. It was inaugurated in 1982 and many well-known celebrities, artists and rock groups have performed here.
