Beijing Today we visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. We will however begin at Tiananmen Square, the largest public plaza in the world. From here, venture north for a visit to the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace). Lunch is at an authentic Chinese Restaurant close to the Forbidden City Next it's on to the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. This evening you can enjoy a traditional Peking Duck Dinner. |

Beijing Enjoy a full day excursion to the Great Wall of China. Lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Afterwards, we continue on for a tour of the Ming Tombs and its Sacred Way, lined with marble statues. |

Lhasa Today, we travel to the Drepung Monastery. Next, we visit the Jokhang Monastery with it's impressive collection of cultural relics that date to the Tang Dynasty. We will also have a chance to browse the local arts and crafts shops on Bakhor Street, which surrounds the monastery. Today is an amazing chance to really take in the sights and sounds of Tibet. This evening, we enjoy dinner at a local Tibetan restaurant. |
