The Elizalde Lake is the most well known lake in the Aisen Region. It is 25 kms long and a width of 2kms, average.

It's surrounded by dense forests and forms part of a group of 5 lakes that drain towards the west.

This place can be reached by a gravel road. Because of its characteristics, this is an ideal place for recreational activities in the area, such as trout fishing, horse back riding, bicycling, and at the lake front at Puerto Yates boats can be rented.
