Bonito is a small town but proves the point that size does not matter as it is one of the major tourist destinations in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

The surrounding area has a wealth of natural resources such as waterfalls, lakes and rivers, dry and flooded caves, and many species of fish and other wild animals. It is possible to see monkeys, parrots, arras, toucans, and even an anteater if you are lucky.
