Brazil’s climate is dependent upon the latitude and altitude. so if it is hot and dry you are looking for then the arid interior is the best place to be on the other hand you may wish to experience the humid tropical rainforests of the Amazon jungle.

There are five climatic regions in Brazil: equatorial, tropical, semi-arid, highland tropical and subtropical.

When visiting the Northern Hemisphere you should be aware that the seasons are opposite to those we are used to in Europe and the United States. November to March are the summer months with winter occuring from June to September.

During summer months the temperature ranges from approximately 25 to 40°C (75~100°F).

If you are an avid sun worshipper then the warm tropical weather extends north from Rio de Janeiro throughout most of the year.

The climate is generally warm summers and cold winters, with occasional snowfall in the far south during the winter months.

Rainy seasons generally occur from January to April in the north, April to July in the northeast and November to March in the Rio/Sao Paulo area.
