Arrive Paro
Reception by representative, escort to the designated hotel
in Paro.
Afternoon: Visit to Ringpung Dzong built in 1646 by
Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal the founder of Drukyul (Bhutan) and walk
down the stone path and traditional Bhutanese cantilever bridge.

Morning; Visit the ruins of Drugyal Dzong (victory fort)
with the air of Jhomolhari Mountain (alt 7320m) which is the only
mountain covered with snow peak throughout the year.
The Dzong was built in the 16th century to commemorate 8
Bhutanese victory over the invading Mongol and Tibetan army.
On the way back visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest monastery
in Bhutan. Evening: visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum, over
looking Paro valley, over night at the hotel. |

Morning: after breakfast drive to Thimphu, Visit National
Library and Bhutanese Textile museum
Afternoon: visit Tashichodzong, Bhutans administrative
and religious center.
Tashichodzong, on the banks of the Wang chu, houses the
throne room of His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Government
Ministries, The nations largest monastery and headquarters
of His Holiness the Je Khenpo ( Head of Monastic Body) and monk
body.
Later visit hand-made paper factory. |

Morning; drive to Punakha District over the pass of Dochola
(10,000 ft) for a breath taking & spectacular view of the
Himalayan ranges & a cluster of beautiful Stupas.
After lunch; visit Punakha Dzong, Visit Punakha Dzong which
stands between Pho Chu and Mo Chu (Male & Female River).

Depart for Trongsa, enroute Phobjikha valley, the roosting
place of Black Necked crane. |

Depart for Jakar after sightseeing in Trongsa.
Visit the Trongsa Dzong-the biggest Dzong in Bhutan, perched
on the rim of the valley, can be seen from every approach. The
Royal family has strong links with Trongsa.
Both His Majesty the King Ugyen Wangchuk, the Penlop of
Trongsa and his successor, King Jigme Wangchuk, ruled the country
from Trongsas ancient Dzong.
The crown prince of Bhutan has always held the position of
the Trongsa Penlop prior to ascending the throne. |

Sight seeing; Includes the visit of Jakar Dzong, Bumthang
Kuja Lhakang, Jampa lhakhang and drive to the flaming lake
Member Tsho-where the sacred religious treasures were discovered
by the great saint Tertoen Pema Lingpa (Treasure finder) in 15th
century. |

Transfer to Punakha, enroute visit Ta Dzong in Trongsa (the
watch tower).
Enjoy the unique and pristine environment with leisure time
to take photography on you way back. |

Morning: Depart for Thimphu via Do Chula pass (10,000 ft);
visit National Textile museum and weaving centre.
Evening: visit Bhutanese paper factory and leisure time for
shopping. |

Morning: visit to folk heritage museum, Zorig cho-sum (Arts &
crafts school) & National medicine center.
Afternoon: Visit the memorial Chorten, built in memory of
the third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, drive to Sangaygang for a
birds eye view of Thimphu city and on the way back stop to
see the takin, the national animal of Bhutan.
Evening: drive to Paro. |
